To young people who dream of becoming future CEOs

GBD Program

GBD Program stands for Global Business Development Program.

The GBD Program is an overseas CEO development program designed to pass on the know-how gained by CEO Ki-Chul Cha while growing InBody, a global healthcare company, to ambitious and young talents.

Step 1. Domestic Sales (1st Year)

A CEO bears the responsibility of ensuring the livelihood of employees by driving substantial operating profits. Therefore, as the first step to become a CEO, participants in this program spend one year working in the domestic field, gaining Sales expertise by promoting KOROT's main medical devices.

Step 2. Basic Training (2nd Year)

Based on the results achieved in domestic sales during the first year, along with a comprehensive evaluation of work attitude and values, the first round of overseas CEO candidates is selected. Subsequently, teams of three are formed to begin the practical 'Establishing a Business Overseas' project, starting with selecting a target country and visiting the location. At the same time, the company provides comprehensive support to the selected candidates, including essential training for overseas CEOs and administrative assistance in every possible way.

Step 3. Overseas Assignment (3rd Year)

Finally, the three-member team departs for the assigned country. From this point on, it’s all about execution, independence, and survival. Using all the skills, judgment, agility, and execution abilities you have learned, you engage in local sales, recruit employees, and address various challenges in the overseas market. At this stage, the top priority is to establish a self-sustaining business within three years.

Step 4. Appointment of overseas CEO (4th to 5th Year)

To appoint the final overseas CEO, the company conducts a comprehensive evaluation of various factors, including sales performance, problem-solving skills, and leadership.

Step 5. Final

The final appointed overseas CEO continues to operate the local business and officially takes on the role of a KOROT Global Business Leader
