Global Mechanical Engineer in the GBD Program
Global Mechanical Engineer will fulfill the role of a developer as a member of the Global Business Development Program. When applying, please attach a portfolio and resume that effectively showcase your expertise in your research field.
Responsibilites
- Designs cardiovascular diagnostic devices for home and professional use, including power transmission systems
- Designs new products with consideration for various aspects, including structure, manufacturing, quality, and management
- Fabricates molds for mass production
- Prepares for manufacturers to begin production (including assembly and testing plans developed with consideration for product specifications and critical management points)
- Designs new products with consideration for various aspects, including structure, manufacturing, quality, and management.
- Possesses logical thinking skills to analyze the root cause of a problem, formulate hypotheses, validate them, and derive results.
- Has the perseverance to develop products for new features or performance improvements.
- Possesses communication skills for effective collaboration with partner companies and related stakeholders.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher (any major acceptable)
- Valid driver's license required
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred Major : Mechanical Engineering
- Preferred Experience : experience using 2D/3D design software, participating in design competitions and projects, or selecting materials and working through manufacturing processes for mechanical systems
